    Research background and interests:

    The overarching objective of Dr. Qadri’s research is to understand the molecular mechanisms regulating RBC product quality during blood bank storage; and RBC function in systemic diseases. More specifically, the research in his lab aims at defining the influence of exogenous and endogenous factors that impact RBC lifespan by using various cellular and molecular biology approaches as well as in vivo studies.
