Undergraduate student research

In September 2008 the Faculty of Health Sciences launched the fourth-year Research Practicum course. This full-year course provides students with the opportunity to work on a project that has been identified by the research tutor and/or the partner organization.

The main objectives of the Research Practicum are to provide students with:

  • A practical and guided experience, which exemplifies aspects of the collaborative research process;
  • Opportunities to apply their knowledge of research methods in an actual research setting; and
  • A positive experience in research collaboration.
